Serve as the Chief, Architecture & Capital Planning Investment Control (CPIC) Group and Chief Enterprise Architect (CEA) for DCMA. As CEA, I lead a team which includes data, business, security, technology, and enterprise architects organized to design, develop, and implement the enterprise, system, and application architectures. The EA team provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem-solving ability to DCMA in support of the EA Program. Guides the CPIC team efforts to optimize the performance of IT investments, align those investments to efficient budget execution, and oversee timely reporting. The CPIC team advises the CIO, Financial and Business Operations team, and IT staff in all matters pertaining to capturing, documenting, executing, and maintaining the DCMAIT investment portfolio. Work closely with senior level stakeholders to define, integrate, and implement strategic direction for programs, business processes, and capabilities vital to the execution of DCMA’s mission. Initiate and oversee actions to resolve major organizational issues by leveraging EA as the common context for analysis, decision making processes, and methodologies. Assess and ensure fiscal and regulatory factors affecting program/project needs are incorporated into the architecture, customer requirements, and investment priorities.• Represent DCMA at workshops, committees, and other cooperative efforts with Federal agencies, the staffs of the Military departments, Defense agencies, and professional societies • Serve as the Lead Change Manager and chair weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings in support of DCMA’s IT Change Management process• Coordinate publication of policy, manuals, and guides to align DCMA information technology activities to DoD instructions, directives, and National Institute of Standards and Technology guidance

Served as a Technical Architect within the Information Technology (IT) Directorate, responsible for providing technical advice, consultation, and support to the Chief Enterprise Architect in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). I advised the CIO and IT staff in all matters pertaining to capturing, documenting, and maintaining DCMA’s technical architecture. • Represented DCMA at workshops, committees, and other cooperative efforts with Federal agencies, the staffs of the Military departments, Defense agencies, and professional societies • Served as the Lead Change Manager and chaired weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings in support of DCMA’s Change Management process• Ensured Strategic Goals, business processes and IT were in alignment and proposed technological solutions increased readiness, reduced life cycle costs, and reduced the logistics footprint• Performed detailed analysis of proposed system changes, new acquisitions or technology refreshes to determine compliance with the architecture,4th Estate Network Optimization, and DoD IT Reform efforts• Developed steps to implement IT Service Management processes and procedures to improve the delivery of services to internal and external IT customers

Served as a Lead Enterprise Architect in the Architecture and Engineering (A&E) Branch, Management and Oversight Division. Chaired weekly technical reviews for IT initiatives, projects, sustainment programs, and participated in configuration, change, and provisioning control boards as necessary. Led a team tasked with evaluating development and modernization efforts for inclusion into the architecture. Served as a Lead IT Specialist for Governance, IA Workforce Improvement, and EA for the CIO. Worked closely with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. In this role, my duties were to ensure that the Strategic Goals, business processes and IT were in alignment. Used acquisition planning and investment management guidelines to link the business mission, strategy, and processes of IT to the DeCA strategy. Managed the architectural, engineering and integration support of theater Battle Command systems for the Integration and Planning Branch of the Battle Command Support Division. Designed, established, and managed the Battle Command System Integration Center-Europe (BCSIC-E). Provided management oversight for the execution of annual budget line items totaling $1.3 million dollars to meet Army Information Security (INFOSEC) requirements. • Directed daily operations of the BCSIC-E in support of theater forces at all echelons• Selected to be the Test Director of the Army Operational Assessment of GCCS-A.
