As an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in the JET Programme, I worked as a co-teacher with a Japanese teacher of English (JTE) and teach students ranging from elementary school third grade to middle school ninth grade. English language education is one of my primary focuses as an ALT. As is normal for ALTs, I travel to several different schools each week.

As an English Teacher at Bosse High School, I worked with students of varying grade levels, abilities, and requirements. I primarily worked with 9th and 10th grade students and taught at least three 90 minute classes each day, some of which were team taught. Apart from in class time, I also planned lessons, assisted students outside of the classroom with.

As a writing consultant, I have worked with students at all university grade levels, including graduate students, and I have helped them with problems ranging from the most basic, such as brainstorming or understanding an assignment, to the most complex, such as precise usage of proper MLA or APA formatting and documentation. I regularly work with English.

In the summer between semesters at USI, I have worked as an industrial painter for USI's summer rehab program. What this means is, myself and a crew composed of a few other people and a crew leader went into the dormitories and apartments on USI's campus and repainted the entire apartment.
