My life’s work centers around helping people develop a positive relationship with their mental barriers to achieve self-actualization. My professional and educational goals are focused on becoming a psychotherapist in order to help facilitate these strides in mental clarity with my clients. I am a senior studying Behavior and Health Science at Boston University’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation to better understand the complex interactions between the body and mind with the goal of developing a practice that explores how both facets influence individuals, relationships, and families. I am hoping to enter the workforce to gain valuable client interaction experience before returning to school to obtain a master’s degree in Marriage and Family counseling. My job experience includes working with Holocaust survivors and their families to facilitate their financial stability. Most recently, I worked with at-risk youth in a group-home setting and helped adolescents create a better relationship with themselves and the world around them using strengths-based approaches and CBT.
