I am Associate Director of Applied Leadership and Assistant Professor of Leadership at Muskingum University. I have an Ed.D in Leadership Studies from Ashland University, an MBA from Tiffin University, and a BA in Psychology from The Ohio State University.My mission is to recruit and advise students for the Master of Applied Leadership and Doctor of Applied Leadership programs, which aim to prepare leaders for diverse and complex challenges in various sectors and contexts. I collaborate with university partners, faculty, and staff to design and implement strategies that attract and retain students, mentors, and stakeholders for the leadership programs. I also teach and mentor students in leadership courses, helping them develop the skills and competencies they need to succeed in their academic and professional goals.Additionally, I have over two years of experience in higher education administration, over twenty years in leadership, and a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry as a football coach, athletic administrator, and diversity liaison. I have received multiple honors and certifications for my contributions to sports psychology, emotional intelligence, and cultural intelligence. I am passionate about supporting and empowering students of color, especially Black male student-athletes, who face unique challenges and opportunities in their educational and athletic journeys.
