Taiwan Globalization Network (TGN) is a non-profit organization building a soft-landing bridge for Taiwanese startups to expand to the European market. Tiger Accelerator is an accelerator project supported by TGN, focusing on coaching and consulting Taiwanese startups to achieve success in Europe in aspects such as product validation, market access, fundraising, and more. In the role of Content & Social Media Lead for TGN & Tiger Accelerator, my responsibilities include:‣ Re-design and manage the website of Tiger Accelerator, regularly produce site content such as blogposts and press releases in English and Chinese.‣ Track and optimize the SEO performance of the Tiger Accelerator website.‣ Initiate and execute online events aimed at startup ecosystem audiences in Taiwan & the Netherlands. Manage event marketing, including planning and executing paid advertisement and organic social media campaigns. The events include webinars, pitch competitions, masterclasses, and startup roadshows, in sectors such as MedTech, AI, and Space.‣ Manage the Facebook page of of Tiger Accelerator, implementing regular content calendar as well as and produce promotional content for various ongoing projects including events, master classes, accelerator programs.‣ Publishing the Tiger Accelerator newsletter for the Taiwanese audience.

TNW (The Next Web) is a leading tech news company. It also organises one ofEurope’s biggest tech conferences. Responsibilities included:‣ Producing & writing ‘Big Spam’, TNW’s daily tech/internet culture newsletter‣ Managing & editing several other TNW’s editorial newsletters, curating ‘takeovers’ from colleagues and external contributors‣ Writing & editing articles for the TNW news site‣ Contribute to liaising syndication partnerships. Sourcing external blogs for syndication articles, and editing these articles to match TNW’s style, often with newly created headline and graphics‣ Paying close attention to tech news on the internet and provide editorial team with news leads

My responsibilities included:‣ Taking part in managing TWN’s social communities on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, with more than 3 million followers in total. This includes monitoring and responding to community feedback, and connecting the social audience with the company.‣ Making social posts on a day-to-day basis, including copywriting & creating static and animated visuals‣ Reporting metrics from social channels to editorial team & informing editorial content decisions‣ Sourcing external blogs for syndication articles, and editing these articles to match TNW’s style, often with newly created headline and header image‣ Paying close attention to tech news on the internet and provide editorial team with news leads

GDCC conducts market research and customer-satisfaction research for a diverse array of international clients. My responsibilities included:• Conduct telephonic interviews with businesses and individuals in China and Taiwan. Transcribe interviews into customer satisfation and consumer opinion reports.• Researching contact information for new interviews • Quality assurance of other agents’ performances• Translation between English and Chinese on questionnaires and participant responses

My independent blogging project on urban observations in Rotterdam. I spoke about some of these ideas at TEDxRotterdam 2016.

The ESD is an annual multi-days event aimed to inform and inspire students in professional area of sustainability. The event included various seminars and workshops, and was attended by hundreds of students. My responsibilities included:• Creating and promoting marketing content such as website, posters, and photography for the event • Creating and posting social media content• Initiating and managing (online and offline) ticket sales

GreenEUR is an autonomous student organisation working to connect students with sustainable businesses and initiatives. As PM I have contributed to the initiation and organisation of successful projects such as film screening, lectures and workshops. My function involved ideating for events, researching/contacting speakers, and promoting events on social media. Working in a team with another colleague, we completed a concept for a mobile application that is an innovative form of geo-locational immersive storytelling. We initiated and developed several ideas, completed market research, and created an audio-visual prototype for the most promising idea.
