Having recently finished a two-month Press Internship, I gained extensive literary experience in both professional client-facing workspaces and personal blog-style multimedia format. Additionally, I worked for the events sector in multiple forms, providing social media marketing insight to a number of brands. I am looking to pursue a career in PR.I graduated with a 2:1 in History at Liverpool Hope University. Whilst studying I built and managed a successful music event brand in Liverpool which allowed me to obtain a plethora of experience in budgeting, people management, communication, promotion and social media management. Starting the brand initially making a loss only added to the pride and sweetness of turning around profits in the following two years. My night also provided me with a healthy creative outlet for my keen interest in music production and DJing. The importance of networking was paramount during my time running the brand and the opportunity to play for other brands/venues all over the country only bolstered my confidence and social capacity.I secured full time temporary roles both summers between my university term time. My most recent was working for Siemens as a Production Operative. The job entailed meticulous attention to detail, meeting daily production targets to a very high standard in a pressured environment and maintaining a safe working environment for myself and my colleagues. With the money earned from this job I spent two months travelling Japan, something I have wanted to do since being a child. I thoroughly enjoy travelling and exploring different cultures outside our own. The summer previously I worked as part of the Resource Planning team at Manchester Airport Group. The job required exceptional organisation and communication skills as I would liaise daily with the heads of departments to run through the staff requirements for the coming days. Other responsibilities included using the workforce data inputting systems to and taking incoming calls for any payroll and shift pattern queries. I used the money from this job to help fund my music event brand at University. I took a year out between A levels and university to take a break from education and pursue working life so that I could fund a inter-rail trip spanning several European cities.
