In my role as Head of International Business, I lead a team which supports our clients with their outsourcing and compliance requirements in Ireland. The team assists international clients with company secretarial, tax compliance, payroll, accounting and reporting requirements and a full range of services to contribute to the growth of their companies.I support a diverse range of foreign direct clients across various industries including aircraft leasing servicing, bio-pharmaceuticals, ICT, cloud computing, manufacturing, business service. Responsibilities:• Manage the monthly close process and consolidation of circa 15 individual financial accountants’ companies, internal results reporting and stock exchange reporting obligations to strict deadlines ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the information reported.• Act as a key liaison with external auditors to ensure timely sign off of technical accounting matters. On completion of my senior audit role with Deloitte I moved to the industry sector and obtained a role as a financial accountant in a fast growing tour company operating around the world with offices in Brisbane and London. The finance department comprised of a team of 4 when I commenced and expanded throughout my employment. I reported directly to the senior management accountant. My role entailed the completion of month end financial reporting including reporting sales analysis and graphs to the general manager and producing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets to parent company in the UK. This role gave me great experience in a company which aspired and achieved to grow 15%-20% year on year and to create and track budgets for this projected growth. The company was bought out by the Flight Centre group during my employment and I was involved in the integration of new processes to align and merge Topdeck into the Flight Centre group.
