I wanted to be an engineer since I was 7, and took my Sony Walkman apart. I studied Computer Engineering, and built industrial robots (analog circuits + control theory and Kalman Filtering) in 2 of my first three professional roles. Then I pivoted into consumer electronics consulting with MOTO Development Group. After one acquisition and two layoffs, I landed at Google in ChromeOS Release. I had become a TPM by this point in an effort to learn more about the business aspects of running a technology business. I found that I had a knack for program management, and have spent the last few years building a team from 0 to 40 T/PgMs. We manage DevOps for Android, Chrome, ChromeOS, Wear, Auto and TV. I've also managed the Chrome Release team for a number of years, and have reduced the cost and risk of releasing Chrome.I love to learn and to build. I've spent time learning and understanding core ML algorithms, and complex systems theory (both through classwork, catching up on research, and coding).Personally, I'm a husband, father, and community member. I'm interested in hand-tool woodworking, blacksmithing, and all aspects of home construction.
