- Supporting private equity investors, corporates and banks that are looking to complete buy-side and sell-side transactions.- Identifying potential issues and assessing the financial risks that could impact purchase price, or the successful integration of the acquired business.- Using financial analysis of historical and forecast information to comment on trends and key performance indicators in the context of commercial, operational and industry factors, as well as its asset base, its levels of cash and debt and its working capital profile.- Regular communication with clients during the process to keep them informed of any findings that could change the viability or structure of the deal.

I spent two weeks in the Risk Department at Bank of America shadowing different people and getting a feel for the day-to-day tasks and atmosphere. This included time spent with the Country Risk team, Risk Analysts and Risk Compliance team.
