Currently I am an Asset Manager at Greystone assigned to the Freddie Mac Small Balance team. The SBL product features loan sizes ranging from $1MM-$7.5MM on 5+ unit multifamily and mixed-use properties. My assigned portfolio consists of +/- 150 loans with properties primarily located in Chicago, Southern CA, and Twin Cities (MN) markets. Previously I worked for three years in asset management at a national commercial mortgage banking firm. Our team serviced nearly 2,000 loans totaling over $10 billion in unpaid principal balance for a portfolio of Life Insurance Company lenders. Our primary responsibilities were to evaluate the operating performance of the underlying asset and ensure borrower compliance with the loan documents. My assigned portfolio consisted of properties nationwide and of all commercial asset classes. Additionally, I have three years of experience in project management at a property management and real estate agency business. We specialized in managing condominium associations and represented over 1,000 housing units. My tasks essentially focused on assisting the owner in developing analytical and creative projects to grow the businesses. Highlights included developing a regression model and quote matrix to price prospective HOA contracts, implementing a cloud based work order management system, and running a time/cost study of existing managed communities. Also performed DCF modeling and analysis for prospective acquisition opportunities of smaller sized commercial properties in tertiary markets.
