My 'why' boils down to a single moment.I was 24, having flown to the opposite side of the world to accept a job working in professional NZ rugby.And I knew no one.Yet, within two weeks, I felt a deeper sense of belonging to the team and community than any I had ever been in."Was this one of the so-called 'secrets' that underpinned the mythical All Blacks?" I thought.Since then, I have been on a quest to understand how the world's most successful teams and cultures become and stay the best.Most recently, I spent five years helping to create and lead a pioneering human performance program within UK Special Forces.My curiosity has driven me to build relationships with some of the world's greatest teams.From Team GB, Cirque du Soleil, and Google to Red Bull, U.S. Navy SEALs, and the UFC.It has revealed the universal principles that underpin the world's best.My findings? There are no secrets. Only those who leverage these universal principles the best.I have applied these principles to help break records in NZ rugby and evolve the culture of UK Special Forces.As a result, I founded Elite Team Scalers in 2023.And now help purpose-driven leaders create their own high-performing teams and culture.Why?
