As the Communications & Fundraising Lead at Transgender Victoria, I am responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication and fundraising strategies to enhance the organisation's presence, influence, and financial sustainability. My key responsibilities include:- Crafting compelling messaging and stories to effectively convey TGV's mission, programs, and initiatives to various stakeholders, including the general public, donors, partners, and the transgender/gender diverse community.- Overseeing external and internal communications, media relations, and ensuring clear and consistent messaging across the organisation.- Managing TGV's brand identity, reputation, and increasing visibility through strategic initiatives.- Developing and implementing fundraising strategies to diversify income streams, cultivating donor relationships, and achieving fundraising targets.- Utilising various communication channels, including social media, website, email newsletters, and traditional media, to engage audiences and increase awareness.- Tracking and analysing communication metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.- Managing website updates and content creation in line with organisational needs and trends.
