Cofounder and executive at Chord, a data infrastructure and AI-readiness platform to set modern commerce businesses up for success in a data-driven world. Chord makes best-in-class data and AI tools accessible to everyone. As COO, I helped establish the business strategy, build the team, fundraise and operate efficiently. I now act as Non-Executive Chairman, where I work closely with the executive team and our largest customers.

I am focused on investing in and supporting high growth startups. I particularly focus on the consumer, DTC, e-commerce and e-commerce enablement sectors, at Series A and B.

Advising the large-cap Consumer team with a particular focus on Beauty, Consumer Brands, as well as Digital & Technology within Consumer.

I founded this platform for the next generation of digital-first consumer brands. Using a community insights approach to uncover white spaces, and technology to engage with customers, we created modern Beauty brands in niche (but not small) verticals. We launched HIKI (an all gender, modern sweat products brand) and State Of Menopause (a menopause beauty brand). We pivoted during Covid, sold our brands and rebranded to Chord.

President & COO of Glossier (and CFO too, for a while). I took the brand from pre-launch to nine-figure revs. During my tenure, I hired and built out a team of nearly 200 people, while I oversaw Marketing, Tech, Data, CX, Product Operations, Logistics, International, Finance and People teams. I led the strategy, particularly around DTC, as well as fundraising.

I have made >35 investments across Beauty & Consumer Brands, Consumer Tech, SaaS and Data startups. Examples include Caraway Home, Maven Health, Ceremonia and Ami Colé. I was part of Sequoia's Scout Program and, more recently, Magnetic's Angel program, as well as an independent angel.

I sourced, led and managed Venture Capital investments in tech and tech-enabled businesses across Europe and the US. As part of this, I led the thesis work on early DTC. I was a board observer to Milestone, Ozon, Privalia, Wool and the Gang.I worked on investments including End Clothing, Zendesk, The Cambridge Satchel Co., Wool and the Gang

Provided corporate finance advice to numerous companies across an array of sectors. Successfully executed 15 transactions, including IPOs, M&A and equity transactions. Specialized in bringing high-growth consumer and tech companies to the public equity markets.
