I currently serve as Chairman and CEO of Advisor Controls, providing leading-edge financial planning software and consulting to financial planning businesses.My work life has been primarily in banking, venture capital, consulting, and non-profit volunteer work. Most recently, I have been spending time in the areas of entrepreneurship, ecosystems, and leadership. In particular, I'm interested in the correlation between study in the Humanities and successful entrepreneurship. In the past, I served as a part-time faculty member in the English Department at UNC Charlotte, where I taught: "British Renaissance Literature," "Capitalism in History," "Finding the Modern in the Medieval," "The Child in Southern Literature and Film," "Entrepreneurial Leadership in Action," and Medieval Studies.Volunteer work has been an important part of my life. My current priority is serving on the board of directors of Right To Start (https://www.righttostart.org/). My first five singles (released between 2017 and 2021) all charted in the Top 30 on the AMC Adult Contemporary Top Hot 40 charts. My single (May 2019) ("Come To Me") achieved #8 on National Indie and College Radio and #22 on National Adult Contemporary Top Hot 40.
