As SVP Global Sales at Cambridge GaN Devices (CGD), I help our customers to make a positive and significant impact on the reduction of global CO2 emissions by supporting their design of more power efficient systems for which GaN may not previously have been a viable consideration. We work with like-minded visionaries and technologically progressive businesses, to change the world in a positive way for the benefit of future generations.  I have served the semiconductor business for over 30 years, gaining experience in technology design, commerce and sales leadership. Having held senior leadership positions across EMEA, I have worked with world-leading customers to introduce the most robust, effective and innovative technological solutions. Prior to joining CGD in 2024, I led the sales and applications teams for Vicor across EMEA, building an organisation reflecting the local business requirements needed to drive growth in the adoption of power efficient designs. I have also held commercial roles at semiconductor businesses Texas Instruments and Infineon, and business development roles at European components distributor Rutronik. In July 2005, I achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Engineering Council UK and have continued my professional development by following The Leadership Programme at Henley Business School.
