My main responsibilities were to deliver a consistent and profitable permanent and contract revenue stream whilst managing and growing the Midlands team and market to make it the most successful and profitable in the business.Built up, from scratch, a team of 5 consultants and was responsible for their training, development, motivation and day to day management.Worked closely with the Directors to establish robust working practises.

My responsibilities were to deliver a consistent and profitable permanent revenue stream from my designated geographical and vertical market, whilst mentoring other more junior members of the team.Main AchievementsPromoted twice in 2 years, starting as a trainee consultant in 2001 and became senior consultant in 2003.Consistently in top 50 out of 250 consultants in my 4 years at the company, finishing in the top 15 in 2003/2004.Twice voted Employee of the month across all 250 consultants by the Managing Directors, for the revenue generated and all round contribution to the office.Hit various individual targets, resulting in reward trips to Las Vegas (was in top 10 consultants company wide), Spain and Prague. Managed the South Coast region and team and turned it into a profitable revenue stream.Trained and mentored two trainee consultants and turned them into successful profitable consultants.

Originally part of the Warner Bros Group, but recently sold and renamed as VUE, the chain had approximately 20 multi screen cinemas across the UK and Ireland and was in the top 3 providers in their market.My main responsibilities in this role were to take a hands on operational management role in the day to day running of a multi million pound leisure facility, whilst also providing a significant input into the various management functions required to ensure the smooth running of the facility. Main AchievementsPromoted three times in three years, starting as Trainee Manager in 1998 at the Watford site and promoted to Deputy General Manager at the new Portsmouth site in 2000.Managed circa 40 members of staff, being responsible for areas such as recruitment, disciplinary issues, work/rota scheduling, motivation and training.Responsible for Stock Management with in the facility and reduced loses from 2% to under 1.25% of total concession sales by implementing new stock controls and processes.Negotiated various marketing events to promote the facility and film releases with other local business with minimal budget.Heavily involved in the opening of two brand new facilities and responsible for liaising with construction staff and helping plan and implement relevant process and procedures to ensure the cinemas opened on time and successfully.
