Responsibilities: Study Skills Advice/Tuition in English/History/Philosophy/Politics & Sociology - 4+ to MA/MSc level.Resulting from and building on my successes in London, I was recently based with a high-profile Russian businessman in Moscow; teaching his 3 sons English & Maths in preparation for their entry into a selection of London-based schools. Prior to this assignment, I was based with a renowned Russian politician/businessman in Moscow and across Europe; teaching both him and his wife English, whilst acting as an all-round tutor & mentor for their 8 year old son. Skills Gained: The ability to prepare and execute highly engaging and productive lessons commensurate with the interests and learning style of each respective student. And, considering the high-profile clients dealt with: impeccable interpersonal skills, flawless organisation and an ability to set achievable objectives, think on my feet & adapt pre-planned strategies to sudden changes in circumstances. Former UK based clients include: BA Politics Student at Royal Holloway, BA Politics Student at Kings College, a former SAS soldier undertaking an MSc in Security & Risk Management (elevating his grades from a fail to 60% + avg) and three students undertaking A-Levels in Film Studies, UK Politics (focussing on this client's AS level re-takes, I helped her jump three grade boundaries from a D to a B), and US History respectively.

Inspired by our shared fascination in its history, culture & landscape, between January and April 2011, a friend and I completed a 13,000 mile circuit of the United States by car - the cheapest Brooklyn NY's less than illustrious 2nd hand car-market could provide! Meager funds, a temperamental mode of transport, and the exacting American landscape provided innumerable hurdles. However, resourcefulness, sheer determinacy and a heavy dose of luck rewarded us with a rare achievement - managing to traverse both coasts (down & up), and cross America's immense middle twice (forth & back), whilst covering 27 states in little over 2 months. We then swiftly - and somewhat surprisingly - sold our well tousled Dodge upon our return to NY. This was followed by 8 weeks living with a revolutionary family in Leon, Nicaragua, where I attended a Spanish school.
