My responsibilities included actively representing clients within six Kansas counties concerning various family law matters; represeting clients in federal chapter 7 bankruptcy actions; representing clients in Social Security Disability administrative hearings; negotiating landlord-tenant disputes; prosecting and defending Protection from Abuse and Protection from Stalking cases. I was elected as the Staff Representative of the Kansas City office to address various staff concerns within the Kansas City office, as well as staff concerns within the statewide Kansas Legal Services organization. I also directed and supervised the legal work of law school students who worked as law clerks and/or legal interns.
