During this internship, I researched topics such as smoking cessation, opioid use, and drug use among couples, interviewed and tracked participants progress to collect usable data, organized and audited data from interviews and research, interacted with participants and provided welcoming information before their interview, and discussed basic psychological texts with a mentor to prepare for research and data collection. Additionally, I was certified by the research ethics committee following completion of lessons and written exams.

I worked 8 hours a day cutting brush and firewood, decking fishing docks, disassembling hunting blinds, splitting wood, mowing lawns, and feeding animals.
