Led a 15-Soldier unit specializing in reconnaissance, surveillance, and acquisition. Also responsible for analysis and assessments in the Multi-National Corps-Iraq during combat operations as part of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.

Served as the Savannah, GA area recruiter for the Georgia Southern Army ROTC program, personally recruiting high school and college students, and civilians to join the program and train to become commissioned officers in the U.S. Army.
