In the last 12 months of my role I was a key contributor in:- Annual tax attribution: This process is the annual payment of tax and tax refunds to all KiwiSaver (and other investment) products. It involves critical communication with stakeholders, organisation of technical and other support as well as the running of the process itself. - New transfer tracking functionality testing: Recently our tracking system for KiwiSaver to KiwiSaver transfers has received an overhaul. I was involved in this process from the beginning, where I consulted on the business requirements for the system itself, through to the final stages of User Acceptance Testing and implementation (including writing user instruction documents). - Various Process Improvement projects: I have participated in the inception and implementation of various process improvement initiatives to create efficiencies with respect to both processing time and risk reduction. One initiative that I designed is projected to save 540 hours (or 67.5 days) of processing time over the next 12 months, without increasing the risk profile of the process.
