Started The Precinct Studios in 2007 at a time when Australia was yet to embrace video for digital broadcast. We quickly established ourselves as the leading suppliers of online content when we created Australia’s first serialised digital content - in the mix.tvIn 2009 I created my first television series as Executive Producer with My Sri Lanka with Peter Kuruvita going to air in a prime time slot on SBS. This series went on to be nominated at the World Media Festival and the Logies. Since then We’ve developed a further 4 series with Peter Kuruvita that have been broadcast both in Australia and globally with international broadcasters including UKTV, Discovery and Nat Geo.I am the co-creator and Executive Producer of the brand funded documentary series Restaurant Australia which we developed with Tourism Australia. My role included developing the concept, selling it in to the client, managing production, overseeing the creative direction and managing the negotiation of its sale to Netflix on a global deal that sees the series now available in over 100 countries to a potential audience of well over 200 million.In my role as a producer, I’ve worked with incredibly talented people to create hundreds of videos for some of the world’s most recognisable brands, media companies, local businesses and more across TVCs, docos, online content and animation.The Precinct is now in it's 12th year of operation working across broadcast television, with 10 full time staff, a and a swag of sensational clients. We have created awarded work across multiple platforms including five international television series. As a team, we continue to push ourselves and our clients in innovation and creativity and feel blessed that we all share the same goals.
