Programme Manager on the SSOP support contract for the Royal Navy's sonar, EW and optical sensors. Particular responsibility for the multiple projects to upgrade and maintain the support for the optical sensors on all UK Submarines.

Support Manager on the £600M Sensors Support Optimisation Project (SSOP), with particular responsibility for all the Royal Navy’s Submarine Optical Sensors. Am embedded within a mixed Thales and MOD team.

Was a Programme Manager working on the Programme to produce and integrate the ORION Sighting solution in to the British Army's New armoured ISTAR Asset (AJAX). With specific responsibilities for improving Thales UK's capability to meet the stringent batching and configuration requirements in the contract with General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin. Also managed the Programme's approach to REACH Legislation.Managed a £3.1 million R&D programme for Thales UK on implementation of a GVA (Generic Vehicle Architecture) and LDM (Land Data Model) compliant Vehicle Mission System.

A 2.5 year program with three 9 month rotations around the Thales UK business. 1st placement was based in Glasgow working on the Canadian periscope programme. Had day to day PM responsibility as an assistant PM for Prime spares production and repairs. Over the 9 month period help drive an increase in the rate of repairs being completed which brought £300,000 into the company. With the prime spares contract I was able to guide the team to delivering several key engineering and production milestones which allowed the programme to claim £1.2M in cash.2nd placement was based in Central London working on delivering a communication system on the London Underground. The role involved using my increasing Project Management skill set to deliver variations to the Connect PFI contract. The Connect Contract was worth £2 Billion at the point of signing; however changes to the network are regularly requested by LUL. As a member of the Project management team I day to day manage these changes. During my time with the connect team the main project that I managed was Handportable Refresh, other projects were: Finsbury Park Cable Moves, Ruislip Depot Auto and Radio Works, Waterloo CCTV Improvement Works3rd Placement was as a Bid and Project Manager for the Naval Optronics group. Main responsibility was the moving of £8M worth of business opportunities through the bid process. This also involved structuring a project frameworks to then be implemented as projects. Allowed me an opportunity to work closely with customers in both the UK and Canadian Submarine programmes, while also learning some of the requirements and techniques required to secure government contracts.

Working with a regular and reserve military team to deliver training and manage just under 200 Officer Cadets with in a military environment. Have also had the opportunity to lead multiple expeditions and exercises, with turnovers ranging from £4,500 to £100,000

Completing a range of military based tasks to develop leadership and management skills. Planned and led a 14 man team on Ex Skye Tiger, a 2 week military adventure trainning expedition with a turnover of £4,500Also organised the first EUOTC Team to take part in the British Telemark Championships, turnover was £10,000.

Completed a 4 year economics course, which included a year in industry. Was a broad course which i later narrowed to focus upon Game Theory and Econometrics. This lead to a dissertation titled "Using multidimensional auction theory to analyse defense procurement in the UK"

A full time member of Wonder Room which has now been merged with Plymouth Futures, based out of Plymouth University. During my time at Wonder Room I worked with a team to formulate and then execute a range of projects for clients. These projects ranged from internal £30,000 redesigns of spaces to £1.1m proposed communication packages.
