CurrentThe work of Herazo-Osorio is a conceptual disintegration of the human experience. Movement, action, and color create unity out of the cosmic chaos to express his inner feelings towards a reality.In late 1969, during his early days as a painter, he was interested in the surreal symbolism of figures and colors. During the 1970 and 1980 decades, it was a period of self-searching when he painted for his own pleasure and did not have art exhibits. Even though the artist does not like labels, during those two decades his work moved from surrealism to abstractionism, from cartoons to commercial art and journalism. In 1990 he abandoned interpretations and disintegrations of forms, and decided to paint what he saw without post mental arguments, and he painted real nature, objects and humans per se, without elucidations. However, the events of the new millennium made the painter reevaluate reality and such necessity turned his art into a disintegration of the human experience to project its basic intimacy. That metaphysical drive is the reason on his contemporary project.The paintings by Herazo-Osorio reflect the disintegration of physical phenomena to be transformed into intangible emotions. Human experiences translate into colorful energy in his art.
