Sales Engineering Manager for Global Enterprise Sales. I manage Sales Engineers for both Commercial and Federal Sales Pre Sales support. The TEAM is responsible for all technical support, POC, Demo’s, Pilot’s, Eval’s, in helping Sales close Accounts. We handle all technical responses for RFP’s, RFI’s and Webex presentations.

Solutions Specialist for Federal Accounts. Architected and designed Solutions in support of Sales. The Solutions were based on IBM Middleware Software. Designed 5 major Solutions for the Sales Team. The Solutions were First Response, Email Achieving, Tele -medicine, Image Processing, and Navy Canes. The solutions were both Hardware and Software integration. I wrote all technical responses to proposals and SOW’s. I provided support for all the Shows and sponsored Company events. I wrote all Project Plans based on the Customer Sow’s.

Project Manager for WEU50 Project. Pulled together a TEAM to integrate TAM /TIM/Web sphere/LDAP for an application to see if would run in their environment. The project was successful in showing the features of how the IBM Security Suite interacted with user cases. I had to integrate all groups within Care first and IBM technical TEAMS. I was responsible in writing SOW with cost estimates. I interviewed all candidates for the entire Project.

Managed 5 Consultants and 12 Pre-sales Engineers for the North American Field Sales of the Enterprise Network Storage Group. Group provided all the Technical support, installation, and consulting projects for the Network Attached Storage products.

Responsible for providing Technical support to Federal, State and Local Government Accounts. Supported 2 District Managers and 7 Account Managers. Activities included doing customer presentations, conducting evaluations, and post-sales training. Architected different Disaster Recovery plans for multiple accounts using DLT, HSM technology.Product set included VxFs, VxVM, NBU, HSM, VCS, FW, DB Editions, and Storage Management tools.

Addressed pre sales technical support for both Federal and Commercial accounts. Responsible for enabling Sales to close high end Server accounts such as SUN 1000, 2000, CRAY 6400 and Envista. These systems ran on Solaris Unix. While serving as Project Manager for the TRW account, also served as Primary Consultant for NASA; FBI, DOE; DOD, and SSA.Additional Commercial/Government accounts included the State of Virginia, the VA Dept. of Motor Vehicles, Mobile Oil, Phillip Morris, and EDS. Provided SAP, Data Warehousing and Decision Support for Federal and Commercial accounts in the Eastern Region.Worked for twelve months on the CSC account supporting NT4.0 Server and Back Office Suite.

Provided customer and engineering support for all Motorola Unix based systems, and Sun 2, 3 and 4’s. Specialized in Hardware, Communication and Operating Systems (Unix releases 3 5.3), TCP/IP, CU, UUCP, NFS and LAN.National Program Manager for the 2000/4000/5000/6000/8000-product line Managed 14 Specialists with responsibility for hardware and software technical support for all National and International engineers and customers. I managed the National Support Data Center which ran the 800 Call Center.

Provided all software support for pre sale, installation, and post sale for the Southeast Region which consisted of three districts in 14 states. Delivered all customer training in operations and programming as well as assisting with the training of Sales personnel. It was also my responsibility to expand on the initial training of Field Engineers and Application Engineers by providing on site instruction.

One of two founding engineers who helped develop the Commercial Branch in the Eastern Region.
