During the more than 27 years of my professional life (21 of those at Publicis Sapient) I have worked in multi-disciplinary and often globally distributed teams where I ideated, designed and implemented solutions in all tiers of multi-tier applications including database, business logic, web interfaces, desktop applications, mobile apps, TV-based applications, IoT, AR/VR and conversational devices.This started off as classic on premise solutions in waterfall methodology but has of course shifted to applying service design and agile methodologies utilizing cloud, serverless and SaaS/PaaS offerings to achieve digital business transformation for our clients.I have also worked in content migration, package- & vendor evaluations, requirements engineering, as a client facing local point of contact of globally distributed teams and of course in estimating and planning project delivery during numerous pitches, RFP-responses and change requests to ongoing projects.I have a passion to design and facilitate workshops and session for value identification and solution definition.I have spoken at internal and external events and conferences and have published a few PoVs.Thanks to always being open to learning new tools and technologies my technical spectrum in the meantime includes MSSQL, Oracle PL/SQL, mySQL, Postgres, COM+, C#.Net, ASP, AJAX, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, JSON, Knockout JS, Bootstrap, PHP, Pearl, VBA (e.g. in Excel), WFP, Universal Windows Platform, Ruby, Xamarin/Maui, unity3D, Vuforia, Meta Spark Studio, Amazon Alexa, MS Power Platform, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful and other CMS systems, serverless computing in Azure and AWS, some Java. For several years I was an integral part of the Emerging Experiences DACH team as Solution Architect and manager of the local maker lab. Besides my core role as a technologist, I lead the Community Team at Publicis Sapient in Munich to ensure a workspace atmosphere where everyone feels welcome, healthy and productive. Where everyone can find friends and participate in number of shared activities inside and outside the workspace and hereby become part of a successful network, which some anticipate even as “family”.During my time at Sapient I was assigned as people manager for more than ten colleagues on- and offshore in order to empower and coach the managees to plan and drive their personal growth.I joined Sapient as Associate Level 1 Technology. Until today I was promoted to Associate L2, Senior Associate L1 and L2, Specialist Technology and Distinguished Engineer (Senior Manager).
