Digicon Mini project was sponsored by Google in partnership with Blu Flamingo Digital Africa to train and equip over 10,000 Ugandan youths with digital marketing skills. The training was meant to enhance the skills of the youths in the emerging trends of digital technology and social media marketing/management in order to promote the use of digital technology in the Sub-Saharan Africa.- Carry out practical training sessions in the different schools, universities and corporate business institutions within Kampala and across the region in Uganda.- Prepare training materials, documents and presentations fully customized to the different needs of the students e.g. university students, high school students and the working class.- Prepare reports for every training carried out clearly stating the success stories and challenges faced during the training.- Respond and answer all the questions of the trainees during the training sessions.- Carry out practical demonstrations on the different Google products to show the trainees how every google product is being used and how best they can use it to market their businesses and create for themselves jobs online.
