My name is Herbert Gabriel, I am founder, owner, Managing Director and CEO of PVT Plasma und Vakuum Technik GmbH since 1985. PVT with its world headquarter in Bensheim, near Frankfurt, Germany, is a leader in the field of ion- and plasma-assisted vacuum coating technologies for over 35 years. At PVT our focus is on wear-, erosion-, corrosion-resistant and low friction high-performance thin films and coatings. PVT is very familiar with the challenges and the continuously growing requirements of the different industries such as: increased lifetime and longevity of tools and components, increased productivity of coating systems, more efficient coating processes and better target utilization of more and more complex and expensive coating materials. Since 2017, PVT researches and develops coatings for different applications for bipolar plates. Bipolar plates are an essential part of fuel cells and electrolyzers, typically made from thin foils of stainless steel or titanium. The bipolar plates have to be coated to manage their conductivity (ICR = interfacial contact resistance) and corrosion behavior to extend life under heavy duties application.The satisfaction of our customers hast the highest priority for us.
