Develop with input from family and friends a business plan, identified a suitable location for a luxury RV and camping resort on the Oregon Coast and currently seeking investors to make this a reality. Projected average return on investment is 37 percent for the first five years. Initially investors were sought from family and friends but now are moving onto others to join us in developing this unique RV and camping experience. The resorts development will be based upon our 50+ years of camping and recreational vehicle use experience in the USA, Canada and New Zealand. Blessed to have family and friends that have committed $640,000 to this venture. Began the idea of the business in January, 2014 following several stays at RV Parks that demonstrated a need for something better. Have come quite a way but much more needs to be done. With a successful start, other resorts could added to create a chain of resorts offering standard, premium and luxury accommodations.

Generally provide fire and environmental services to Firewise 2000, Inc. Develop Fire Protection Plans, Fire behavior analysis, weather analysis and related planning. Conducted post fire incident damage assessments to vegetative resources including trees and crops.

Oversaw the Natural Resources Section of the County of Los Angeles Fire Department's Forestry Division. Served as the Department Fire Weather Officer. Wrote grants to secure funding for the nations only Brush Crusher, helped develop the Departments Remote Automated Weather Station System and a Conservation Education Center. Led the effort to conduct a 1,100 acre Emergency Watershed Protection Project due wind erosion control project on private land to protect the community of Antelope Acres in 1992. Managed a team of 11-15 employees. Served as a Type II Logistics Section Chief during major emergency operations. Title was last held prior to retirement.

Operated the Environmental Review Unit of the Forestry Division, County of Los Angeles Fire Department. Wrote grants, conducted public education in schools and with community groups. Developed displays and educational materials regarding fire, forestry and environmental safety.

Worked in Forestry Division nursery's conducting dryland planting of desert, woodland and timber trees and shrubs. Assisted in the operation of a forest tree nursery where we grew approximately 30,000 plants a year, most planted for wildlife enhancement along California Aqueduct. Worked as weekend recreation and facilities operation specialist at the Mount Gleason Civilian Conservation Center operated by the County.

Assisted with Fire Suppression and landscape design of a visitors overlook. Was lucky enough to work with Donald Biedebach in my early years. When Don passed, the Angeles National Forest dedicated the Don Biedebach Training Center for him.
