Responsible for a proposed architecture design of Clinical Data Hub, a cross-functional initiative within R&D. The project discovers the current state and the future requirements of the R&D ecosystem of data, technology and analytics to enable a modernized data-driven architecture.The Cloud-based Clinical Data Hub architecture features improve the core Data Management capabilities, develop common data acquisition/ingestion ETL process, scale storage and compute independently in the data hub, aggregate and inventory Clinical Data Assets (RAVE EDC, MRI Imaging, Lab data, eCOA, and EHR patient data), enhance data cleansing and data mapping to CDISC standard STDM and ADaM formats with MDM, Data Governance, utilize Data Visualization tool (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Qlik, Tableau, Python) to improve Data Review (outliers detection, data trends and patient profiles), downstream analytics report for medical reviews and register R&D data in Enterprise Data Catalog, and deliver an advanced Analytic Capability to R&D.Participated in Agile Scrum team to design Microservices based and Event-driven Architecture to scale data and application services in AWS Cloud environments. Integrated Private and Public Cloud with data pipelines in SSL encrypted VPN, authentication and authorization used Active Directory based SSO, VPC, IAM Cloud Security. Cloud Technology Infrastructure included API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3 and Event Bridge. Technology stack is designed with Java Spring Boot Restful API, NodeJS and Angular, Oracle SQL, Redis and MongoDB NoSQL databases. The new deployment used Jenkins to publish app images to Docker containers and Kubernetes to orchestrate CI/CD pipeline.

Responsible for the technical design of a new capability based on the strategic value/impact of the solution for the R&D IT. Define functional and non-functional requirements for addressing the business needs. Design, implement and deploy appropriate solutions with technology roadmaps.Work with Infrastructure and Security Teams to design and implement Data Security, Infrastructure Security and Cloud Security. Managed third-party vendors to develop operational support methodology and provided governance. Work with PMO and Finance in managing project budgets, including forecast and actual tracking and license costs. Implemented multi-year roadmap to improve Takeda/Shire Clinical Trail Management System (CTMS) for R&D Clinical Operations. Successfully implemented the ability to scale integrated Clinical Supply Chain with systems harmonization to unify Shire/Baxalta dual small / large molecule clinical supply chain organization and moved forward common business processes.  Developed Roadmap for Consolidation of SAS Environment in SAS Grid and SAS LSAF Migrated Baxalta Argus Safety System into Shire Argus Safety System. The Shire system will be first upgraded to 7.0.6 and then data will be migrated from the legacy Baxalta Argus Safety database to the legacy Shire Argus Safety database to create one integrated system. Migration was done by ETL jobs and data mapping included all Case Data, Adverse events, product repository data and configuration data. E2B data elements were also transformed. E2B submission data were migrated as required in PSR reports. Furthermore, participated in the Argus (7.0.6 to 8.1) Upgrade Project to migrate Argus Safety DB to the cloud and integrate with Shire Qlik Report Server in the Shire Private Cloud, interconnected with Axway, and E2B (R3) support for Japan. Served in dual roles as a PM and a Solution Architect, to lead a team that successfully completed eTMF Veeva Vault Migration Project.

Performed technical design and led several System Engineering projects. The projects involved the design of L-1 Kiosk, Image Capture Workstation, Image Server, Biometric Identification (BI) Facial/Fingerprints Recognition System, Gated Issuance, Factory Communication Server and Print Factory Systems; which provides a powerful capability for jurisdictions issuing Driver Licenses and ID cards. Architected and led the software development team to design and implement a new Advertisement Content Management and Distribution System. The system provides user interfaces for Sales and Ads Production personnel to enter Customer, Contact, Addresses, Contract, Billing Information, Ad and Store List into the Microsoft SQL databases. The data stored in a Microsoft SQL Server relational database, accessed by JDBC, is mapped to a Java programming objects using Hibernate ORM technology.

Architected and led a software engineering team to develop QuantiaMD on Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and iPhones. This is an AJAX, Web 2.0, Web Services application to help physicians to continue their medical education using mobile devices. Development is done in C#, .Net environment, Java in JDE, Objective-C in X-Code and in JBoss server environment.
