For over 20 years, Herb Meushaw has been helping families throughout the country create strategies to achieve their desired retirement lifestyle. He lectures extensively on personal financial planning, presenting dynamic and informative seminars to both the public and private sectors.As a financial consultant, he specializes in a wide array of services, including wealth management, retirement planning, tax-aware investment strategies, and estate planning. He utilizes comprehensive financial planning tools to identify an individual’s needs and goals. Herb believes that each client should have a customized financial plan that clearly states the goals of the investing program, the acceptable risk parameters, and the timeline allowed for reaching the investment goals established. He feels strongly that it is his responsibility to communicate regularly with clients, advising them on the implementation of their investment plan, and providing them with regular progress reports. Herb is fully licensed as a General Securities Representative, and as an Investment Advisor Representative with First Allied Securities, Inc. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 62, 63 and 65 securities licenses. In addition, he is fully licensed in the fields of Life, Annuity, Long-Term Care and Health insurance in the state of Maryland. In May 2002, he successfully completed courses for the Certificate of Financial Planning Program at Villa Julie College. Herb is both a Certified Wealth Strategist and a Registered Federal Benefits Advisor.The Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Maryland benefited from his ten-year membership, which included a seat on the Board of Directors, President (2002) and Chairman (2003). During his presidency the Maryland Chapter received the Gold Level Chapter Award for the first time. In recognition of his devotion and dedication to the programs of the FPA, Herb received the 2003 Donald L. Lebowitz Award from the President and Board.
