Project Drawings Manager for BDLA directing and leading the work of a team of designers all across Latin America.Responsabilities include:- Define and assign projects to drafting / design personnel in the BD Latin America offices (Charlotte, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina).- Review drawings (sales drawings, mfg. drawings, assembly drawings, bldg. design drawings, etc.) created by drafting personnel.- Implement and develop operational standards, policies and procedures.- Lead and direct team members on effective methods, operations and procedures.- Create weekly schedules based on sales department needs.- Maintain frequent interaction with senior management to measure goal achievement and determine areas of improvement.- Conduct biweekly drafting team meetings to coordinate group work and activities.- Visit customer and attend trade shows as needed.- Provide technical assistance and guidance to building designers to ensure the provided agricultural equipment merges with the structural design.- Coordinate the preparation of preliminary, sales, construction and foundation drawings.- Provide forecast to sales team of building construction drawing progress and delivery.- Coordinate with customer's civil work contractor, installation contractor and technical team.- Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives and procedures for department.- Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees' work schedules and time cards.- Interview, hire, train and evaluate project drafting personnel, promote and dismiss employees when appropriate.

Lilly Drafting Area SupervisorResponsibilities include:- Creation and revision of the Drawing Management & Control Procedure SOP. - Provide training on the mentioned SOP. ­- Assign numbers for each new equipment, instrument and drawing following Lilly corporate standards. ­- File and maintenance of drawings and project files. ­- Assist in the implementation of construction projects ensuring that the Lilly Engineering Standards are met. ­- Provide Excavation/Break-In Clearance Certificates for projects, work orders and PTW’s.Support to the Lilly Project Engineering TeamResponsibilities include: - Creating and transforming initial rough project designs using AutoCAD into working documents. - Review Engineering drawings and design to ensure adherence to established Lilly specifications and standards. - Create conceptual design drawings for future projects.

Drafting Area Team Leader for the development of Process & Mechanical (piping) system design. Projects serving the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries (Pfizer, Pharmacia, Glaxo Smithkline, Schering, etc.).

Developed Electrical and Instrumentation drawings in AutoCad. Worked with the Instrumentation group on projects in Augusta, Georgia.
