Esanda is a division of the ANZ bank and is one of Australia's largest vehicle finance providers, looking after the finance needs of Australians for over 50 years providing both consumer and commercial finance. The Regional Recoveries Officer role is accountable for managing debt recovery on an aaccount portfolio of 400 to 500 accounrt with a debt value of $12 million up to $18 million.Specific responsibilities include:• Managing a personal account portfolio to ensure maximum recoveries.• Recommending and initiating legal action where appropriate and manage until the 'end point'• Conducting settlement negotiations • Fielding all customer enquries (whether internal customers or third parties ie. mercantile agents, solicitors), providing accurate and relevant information which shows an understanding of customer needs and expectations.• Managing special circumstances account where the customer is deceased, in financial hardship or suffering from mental/physical illness.• Conducting skip location action to locate missing customers and chattels. • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for project teams
