László is a a Care Activist, designer, working in the area of health and care for over two decades. Together with Lekshmy Parameswaran he co-founded The Care Lab, a collaborative platform that uses care-centred design practices to reimagine care models for our societies and systems. Their vision of care is an equitable, pro-active and compassionate experience that forms an integral part of everyday life, from birth to death. As a Care Activists, and designer László collaborates with teams of hospitals, health systems, elderly homes, hospices, internationally, designing services, products, communication & conversation tools, protocols, spaces, as well as coaching teams beyond the design intervention.Prior co-founding The Care Lab, he co-ran fuelfor Healthcare Innovation, a specialist design consultancy working with a variety of international players within the health and care sector with studios in Barcelona and Singapore.After graduating from MOME in 1999, László spent 8 years in the global healthcare team of Philips Design. He led several high-profile innovation projects, creating future health scenarios in the Next Simplicity event and developing concepts such as Ambient Experience, a paradigm-shifting contribution to the healthcare industry that won an IDSA gold award in 2005.
