ProbuildUK LTD was set up in 2014 by Director Thomas Bone following over 10 years experience within the industry. City and Guild's trained and qualified Thomas became a sole trader working on local projects alongside other local traders. After his first successful year in business in the UK, Thomas packed his trowel and took it 'down under' to work overseas in Australia and was granted a 4 year skilled visa. Whilst in Australia he obtained another recognised qualification in certificate level 3, bricklaying. Working as a subcontractor for the first 2 years, he then became sponsored and employed by a well known and established company Stuart Dent Pty. Ltd. Recognised for being honest, hard working and a loyal employee; he was promoted to become a lead hand bricklayer on some of the large scale commercial building projects. Leading a 'brickies gang' of up to 5 men. Working from site plans, setting out buildings and liaising with site foreman and project managers. On return to the UK in 2014 Thomas set up ProbuildUK ltd, taking on two employees. Labourer Connor and apprentice Eddie. Since established, ProbuildUK Ltd has been working on various projects across the Midlands including brickwork, concreting, extensions, annexes, new builds, restoration, plastering, roofing, repair work and various smaller projects.
