- Conducted research on the design of a magnetic nano-platform with a dendritic structure for environmental applications under the supervision of Dr. Oscar Odio and Dr. Edilso Reguera Ruiz. My role involved the synthesis of magnetic nanoparticles and dendritic structures, the modification of nanoparticles' surface with organic molecules, the heavy metal adsorption experiment (ICP), and a deep study on the possible adsorption mechanism (FTIR, XPS). Participated in all facets of the project and responsible for the final reports- Applied XPS as the main spectroscopy technique to propose the possible adsorption mechanism between the contaminant species and the magnetic nano-platform with a dendritic structure. Active participation in the sample analysis by XPS and processing XPS data employing CASA-XPS software. Prepared final reports with the XSP data for patents and article writing- Prepared diverse research articles to be published in JCR journals in collaboration with the research team, resulting in three scientist articles published and two submitted patents
