A close friend once told me, “I swear, you have the patience of Job!”That was, either, quite a compliment or a statement of pity. I chose to believe the former. My life hasn’t been a bouquet of roses nor has it been all thorns but I can tell you...it has shown me a lot about resilience, patience, endurance and most of all, humility!By “trade” I am an educator – twenty-plus years in higher education to be exact of which instilled in me the desire to help other people, students in particular. However, on this journey called life we are all students learning from our valley experiences to our mountaintop celebrations; and trust me, I’ve had my share of both.Though I am no longer in higher education those experiences, high and low, have brought me to a place where I can share with others how to navigate through the valley and be humble on the mountaintop. I may or may not be as patient as Job but I have developed a skill set over many years and experiences that allows me to continue helping students (of life) through coaching:- Interpersonal Communication- Emotional Intelligence- Relationship Building- Conflict Management- Critical ThinkingYou.
