Started in the FI Benelux Team at the end of 2005, first as broker of large Benelux FI accounts and as of 2008 as Practice Leader for the Benelux. I was in charge of (1) the placement and handling of large complex insurance programs for FI's, and (2) the commercial development of our FI-book of business in the Benelux and beyond. Started my career at Marsh as a Junior Broker Property (1988-2003), moved then to Liability & Financial Lines (and developed from scratch a new D&O book of business in the early 90's). Became FINPRO (Financial Lines / Risks products) Leader of the Marsh Antwerp office. Focus was on both Product Development/Know-how and Sales of FINPRO-products. Successfully developed Financial Institutions (FI) business as of second half of the 90's.Moved away from the FINPRO-business in mid-2000 to become Middle Market Director for Belgium. Left Marsh in May 2001 to join AIG Europe.
