Ondernemend Emmen is dé belangenbehartiger voor ondernemers in Emmen. We brengen ondernemers in verbinding met elkaar en met iedereen die een bijdrage kan leveren aan een optimaal ondernemingsklimaat in Emmen. Onze activiteiten richten zich op techniek & industrie, internationaal ondernemen, kennisdeling, netwerken, parkmanagement en het stimuleren van de lokale economie in de meest ruime zin van het woord. Samenwerking, innovatie en belangenbehartiging vormen binnen al deze aandachtsgebieden de leidraad. Ondernemend Emmen is er voor de leden en van de leden.  Ondernemend Emmen is in maart 2020 opgericht na een fusie tussen de OKE (Ondernemerskring Emmen) en de VPB Emmen (Vereniging Parkmanagement Bedrijventerreinen Emmen) en bestaat uit een bestuur en een professioneel uitvoerend team.

De Ondernemerskring Emmen, afgekort OKE, ontstaan als Industriekring Emmen in 1954, is een enthousiaste belangenbehartiger en ontmoetingsplatform voor industriële ondernemers op de Emmense bedrijventerreinen; Bargermeer, Waanderveld, EMMTEC Industry & Businesspark, A37, De Tweeling, De Vierslagen en Pollux.Bijzondere aandacht, gaat uit naar het versterken en optimaliseren van het ondernemersklimaat in Emmen en directe omgeving., Een andere belangrijke activiteit is het versterken van de banden tussen de leden. Een zakelijke en sociale kant van de OKE.

De Techniek Sociëteit Zuidoost-Drenthe is een ontmoetingsplek voor ondernemers en ondernemende medewerkers van bedrijven die werkzaam zijn in de techniek. Het motto is 'ondernemen en verbinden'. Dit geven wij vorm door van elkaar te leren, kennis en ervaringen te delen omtrent uitdagingen in de techniek of de bedrijfsvoering en samen te verbeteren en te groeien. De Techniek Sociëteit verbindt technische ondernemers en ondernemingen met elkaar, maar ook met het Onderwijs en de Overheid. Deelnemen aan de Techniek Sociëteit is laagdrempelig. Toegevoegde waarde leveren vanuit de techniek of de technische bedrijfsvoering is belangrijker dan jaaromzet of het aantal medewerkers. Het enige criterium voor lidmaatschap is dat een bedrijf zélf activiteiten uitvoert in de techniek.Voor haar leden en genodigden organiseert de Techniek Sociëteit 6 plenaire bijeenkomsten per jaar die op woensdagen plaatsvinden van 16:00 – 18:00 uur. De bijeenkomsten bestaan uit een presentatie over een thema en een bedrijfspresentatie. Door de bedrijfspresentaties leren bedrijven elkaar én elkaars mogelijkheden kennen, thema-presentaties bestaan uit interessante en actuele onderwerpen op het gebied van innovaties, subsidieregelingen, nieuwe ontwikkelingen in de techniek, wijzigingen in wet- en regelgeving of onderwerpen gerelateerd aan Smart Industry. Ook de samenwerking met het Onderwijs of de Overheid krijgt ruime aandacht.

BrainCenter came into existence after the merging of Basic Engineering and LG Philips' PTE department. Basic Engineering started in 1999 as a secondment organization for high quality technical personnel. (privately held, 350 employees) is an international oriented high tech company with sites in The Netherlands, The Czech Republic and Mexico and has specialized in product design, tool design, tool making and production (plastic-injection-molding, metal-injection-molding, stamping and assembly) of technical precision parts and products for a large range of markets, like: the Automotive Industry, the Powertools and Connectors Industries, Medical Technology, Pharmaceutical Applications and the Domestic Appliances and Personal Care Industry. ITB's special techniques comprise insert-, outsert- and 2k molding, stamping, clean room injection molding production (class 100.000), toolshop, metal injection molding, handassembly and fully automated assembly and is TS16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001 certificated and its employees are GMP trained.
