Chief Information Officer
HealthEquity is a 5000-member publicly traded financial and healthcare company that is the industry’s #1 HSA administrator. While directing all IT, I drove the organization’s transition from traditional on-premises to a cloud environment.Throughout my time here, I executed application rationalization and consolidation projects. For instance, I retired 2 out of 5 data centers, combined 4 Salesforce instances, and shifted ERP processes from Sage and QuickBooks to NetSuite. Doing so enabled me to accelerate customer-facing operations, decrease multimillion-dollar expenses, and boost the efficiency of the corporate IT infrastructure.Additionally, I introduced substantial improvements to enterprise data management protocols. By eliminating data silos, I solidified data organization and security policies and initiated the accurate forecasting of new market opportunities and client retention metrics. On the same note, I enhanced data federation by devising SOPs on masking and access control, mitigating risk and increasing the security of client data as a result.I secured buy-in for business-wide digital transformation initiatives by employing a storytelling approach to communicate my vision across stakeholders, employees, and the C-suite. Then, I cultivated a data-driven mindset across cross-functional teams by conducting town hall, skip-level, and small group meetings on future goals and KPIs.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:- Drove workforce optimization by establishing a hybrid team across application, network, and help desk operations.- Built visibility by mitigating data silos; enabled accurate forecasting of market penetration and client retention KPIs.- Pioneered the transition of ERP processes from multiple Sage and QuickBooks instances to NetSuite.
