I am an executive with 20+ years' corporate commercial experience in the natural resources industry. I am passionate about lifelong learning, doing meaningful work, and creating an inclusive company culture. I have led the Africa-focused legal, corporate governance and business development departments for three multinational corporations and was awarded 'General Counsel of the Year' at The African Legal Awards in September 2023. I have specific expertise in mergers and acquisitions, strategy development, corporate finance, sustainability practices, and international dispute resolution. I have served as an Executive Director on a number of corporate Boards, and am currently a Non-Executive Director at Stellumthombo NPC, a non-profit organization that empowers communities to overcome poverty and injustice. I hold an MBA (Financial Management) cum laude from the Stellenbosch Business School, and I am an admitted attorney and notary of the High Court of South Africa. I have a basic proficiency in French.
