"Don't fear change. It's always for the best." This is a quote by Richard Bach and one that always reminds me to embrace change, uncertainty and plunge into it. Progress is impossible without change. It requires pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones to live and create the life that we want to live. Embracing changes and uncertainty has helped me overcome moving to a foreign country, to transition into new career paths and reshape the quality of my life. Initially I pursued a degree in linguistics and world literature. Years later, I transitioned to teaching in elementary school. However, a teaching degree was not my last stop. Out of new interest and curiosity I challenged myself by pursuing new career in software engineering and development. Here I am, determined to excel once again. I am an asset, motivated, detail-oriented, creative-minded, analytical, and solution-driven. As a software engineer my strength lies in solving problems, converting challenges into opportunities, and making changes to guarantee improvements.
