Contributor to the IB Diploma Extended Essay curriculum review in preparation for the next iteration of the guide in 2023. Made up of teachers, educators, administrators, IB staff and academics, the review considers changes to the existing framework. This review is run by Robin Julian at the IB Office in The Hague.

Using RM Assessor to examine 4,000-word research essays in English language and literary studies. Assessment also includes evaluation of three student reflections on the process.

Using RM Assessor to mark student essays. Students handwrite exams, commenting on a a prose or poetry extract they are unfamiliar with, seeking to comment on language, style and form.

Using RM Assessor to moderate and mark the Literature internal assessment - students complete a recorded oral commentary on an unseen extract and respond to teacher questions.

Using RM Assessor to mark 1500 word essays about the theory of knowledge. Examining responses to one of five possible prescribed titles.

Using RM Assessor to grade handwritten examination papers. Students write a compare and contrast essay, based on a choice of three questions, categorised by genre - prose, poetry, drama and non-fiction.
