Team’s structure and company´s external legal advisors’ profile definition. Representation of the Company before Commercial Chambers, Government Authorities, and relevant stakeholders. Campaign plans. - Commercial: Restructuring plans for Distributors. Negotiations of non-exclusive Distribution and Termination Agreements in complex jurisdictions.- Compliance: Control of compliance with applicable regulations.- Procurement/Production/Finance: Proforma agreements. Negotiation of international contracts with a high impact. Bidding processes. SIMI and SIRA´s approval.- Business restructuring: Corporate restructuring processes. Restructuring of Company´s Distributors and Suppliers agreements.- Marketing: Commercial initiatives definition. e-commerce platforms, commercial policies, and consumer promotions. - Labor: Emergency Proceedings and internal policies (highly variable workforce environment). +100 labor cases portfolio. Conflicts with Unions. Blockades. Termination of contracts with Suppliers with a high financial and reputational exposure.- Consumer Care: Consumer case cases (~200 per year).- Member of the Leadership Team of Argentina and PUB. Member of the Global Legal Marketing Committee.

Legal advice to the business units of the Company in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and BAT Headquarters, focused on Marketing and Trade Marketing, Compliance, Finance, Commercial, Labor and IP Law, and Product Liability Litigation.Main Challenges: Support Argentina, Uruguay, and Bolivia's Markets in the deployment of the commercial strategy defined by the Group in a highly regulated and controversial industry while supporting the transition of the industry to a lower-risk products portfolio (i.e. non-combustible). Relevant Experiences:- Infrastructure and Productive Projects: Legal advice in infrastructure and productive projects with a high impact on the company´s operation.- Regulatory: Development of regulatory strategies and contingency plans. Management of corporate affairs relations with stakeholders and negotiation of the communication strategy defined with the authorities.- Litigation: Lead, in association with local and NY law firms and the Company´s Center of Expertise based in London, the Product Liability cases strategy with a record of no case lost.- Commercial/Production Advisory: Launch of new products, customer relationship programs, point of sales activities, big-scale promotions, activities, and events in a highly regulated and controversial industry. Negotiation with Local, Regional, and Global Suppliers, Retailers, and Distributors.- IP: Negotiation, in collaboration with Global IP, of License Agreements with licensors inside and outside the Group.- Labor: Voluntary Early Retirement Scheme, and a restructuring plan for BoD and Senior Management. Follow up and management of +80 labor cases portfolio.- Conflicts: Commercial, Labour, and Consumer claims. Experience in controversies with high public exposure.- Assistance to the Top Team: Active participation at the Top Team (i.e. VPs) regular meetings aimed to align the strategy to be deployed in the relevant markets.
