I am an appointed employee with the I.T. Department known as Systems Management. I am first line of support and maintain trouble calls for various issues with users as well as outside agencies. I remotely fix issues and i'm also on site support. Another job function of mine is to create legal documents using adobe pro and modify existing documents to meet legal standards and statutes. These reports are used by our end users as well as the public. Recently I switched from my primary role as a Help Desk Support Technician and now our Junior DBA (Junior Database Administrator). My new role requires me to maintain Database backups for our system we have in place and monitor varies server conditions. I create QA testing environments for users to test different release versions as they roll out of programs we use on a daily basis as well as update our Production to the appropriate version once testing in completed by end users. I implement new updates to our Database using SQL 2008 which soon we will be moving on to 2013 along with still maintaining legal report documents to statute requirements.
