US and Global Functional Head accountable for the management and timely delivery of all technical data management deliverables produced by the Global Clinical Data Integration (GCDI) organization in support of Global Data Management and Standards’ objectives and commitments.Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the technical project management framework and associated processes that drive end-to-end planning and delivery across GCDI functional areas inclusive of Clinical Database Development, Clinical Database Testing, Mapping, Report Programming, External Data Acquisition and Management, and Database Archival and Decommissioning. Primary Activities 1. Develop and implement business unit strategy, develop functional capabilities, and ensure achievement of performance targets aligned with organizational goals and objectives. 2. Oversee the management of the business unit’s headcount and finances, ensuring alignment with established guidelines and targets.3. Drive timely, aligned delivery of technical data management deliverables and services in support of MRLs Book of Business (pipeline).4. Manage employee performance, career development, and organizational talent and succession planning.5. Proactively engage with key customers and stakeholders on behalf of GCDI to recognize potential value-creating opportunities and to drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and productivity across the organization. 6. Keep abreast of project management, technology and clinical data management disciplines; actively engages in industry forums7. Actively participate in and lead organizational initiatives8. Support audits and inspections, as required9. As a member of the GCDI Leadership Team, provides strategic and operational input into decisions impacting the direction and success of GCDI
