Conducted market research to develop and allocate program budget and ensured federal and state procurement compliance and financial policies through micro purchases, small purchases, and formal bidding procedures. Collaborated with internal stakeholders and federal agencies, state agencies, non-profit organizations, private donors, and international organizations to draft, submit, and manage multi-year grant projects. Drafted organizational policy that developed and implemented a public health intervention across 9 sites evaluating changes in fruit and vegetable consumption to assess the effectiveness of the farm model within the CNP. Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to pilot a socio-emotional learning initiative that became embedded within the national district core curriculum, now serving 75,000 students. Digitized and created standard operation procedures within the CNP. Developed comprehensive training plan that provided ongoing strategic guidance, technical assistance, and training for team members. Built coalition between Hidalgo County and IDEA Public Schools to create an innovative K-12 agriculture specialty school.
