Primary research project @ Camarillo Lab: developed wearable instrumented mouthguards that collected first-of-its-kind acceleration measurements of human head impacts. Analyzed data to identify injury patterns using machine learning and designed / simulated novel protective headgear. Authored 4 first-author papers in top journals and 7 abstracts accepted for presentation in scientific conferences. Delivered 20+ research talks at international scientific meetings, local K-12 schools, and course lectures as an instructor. Earned $375K+ in research grants from government agencies (NSF, NIH), private foundations, and university sources. Developed audio animatronic robot with first-of-its-kind storytelling & guest interaction capability now on display at Walt Disney World, FL. Built a dynamic simulation of stresses on the robot during complex animations to identify failure and maintenance risks. Evaluated simulation software for continued use in future robot projects and presented assessment to lab leadership

Interfaced between engineers, business operations, and contracts specialists on aircraft configuration from sale to delivery of Boeing 737 aircraft. Developed guide for customers to comply with international flight-worthiness certification regulation.
