With over 20 years of experience in the trade promotion sector, I am a passionate and driven professional who strives to foster bilateral trade and investment relations between Colombia and the US. My core competencies include diversity and inclusion, marketing strategy, strategic planning, and export advisory. As a Regional Trade Representative at PROCOLOMBIA, I work with a dynamic and multicultural team to promote Colombian exports of manufacturing goods and services, and attract foreign direct investment to Colombia.In my current role, I leverage my skills and knowledge to identify market opportunities, develop business plans, coordinate trade missions, organize trade shows, and provide market intelligence and consultancy services to exporters and US investors. I have successfully facilitated multiple deals and contracts, generating value and impact for both parties. I have also obtained two certifications from Rice University on defining and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in organizations, which reflect my commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful work environment.
