Prior to that he worked as the Export Finance Manager for the Office of International Trade at US Small Business Administration. Previously, Hernan was the Head of Financial Institutions at EIA Global – a Trade Credit Insurance Brokerage firm.Prior to that he was the Florida Region Sales Executive for Wells Fargo Bank’s Global Banking Group. Before then Hernan spent 8 years at Bank of America as the Regional Head of Trade Finance and Corporate Banking for Latin America and Asset Distribution in the Americas. Additionally, he has held roles at Wachovia Bank (Structured Trade Division / Government Guarantee Programs), Regions Bank (Correspondent Banking), TD Bank (Commercial Banking) and The Trade Bank of Latin America – Bladex (Product Management).Hernan is a Community Leader. He serves in numerous Boards and Councils for leading industry organizations such as International Trade and Forfaiting Association - ITFA, BAFT and The Florida International Bankers Association amongst others.Hernan is also a long time Career and Business Coach. He is the Founder of Apprentice Worldwide, a global mentoring and career coaching organization that supports nextgen leaders. He also founded the Worldwide Financial Network, a Networking organization for Finance Experts and Professionals. Hernan has earned an MBA and BBA in International Finance & Marketing from the University of Miami, a Post Graduate Degree from St. Thomas University on Spiritual Companionship to complement his many years leading men, marriage and youth and young adult catholic ministries for 20+ years. He serves as a Speaker, Volunteer and Adjunct Professor and Volunteer at Florida International University and the University of Miami (US), IEASE (Spain), Unibe (Dominican Republic) and the Inter-American University (Puerto Rico).
